SPRUV is a platform that helps independent artists reach curated Spotify playlists. You submit a track, a real curator listens, and if it fits one of their playlists it gets added. There are no ads, no pay-to-play, and no promises of streams.

You paste a Spotify link. We use the track information and listening context to route it toward curators whose playlists may be a good fit. A human listens and decides. If it fits, it's added. You'll see the placement in your journey.

Independent artists at any stage — from a first single to a growing catalogue — who want their music heard by curators who actually listen. It's not built for label-scale campaigns or engagement farming.

Submitting music to SPRUV is free. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but access to curators will never be locked behind a paywall.

Paste a Spotify track link on the submit page. That's the entire form. You don't choose playlists — we route the track to the curators it naturally fits.

Right now, SPRUV works with Spotify links only. This keeps every submission at release quality and lets curators listen the way their audience does.

Not yet. Because we route via Spotify, the track needs to be live on Spotify at the time of submission. Pre-release submission is something we're exploring, but we won't promise a date.

Yes. Each track is reviewed on its own merits. There's no benefit to flooding submissions — one strong track has better odds than five average ones.

Most submissions are reviewed within a few days. Some take longer when a curator's queue is full. We don't rush curators — the review is done by a person, not a script.

Sometimes. Curators can leave short notes, but we don't require it. A 'not this time' isn't a judgement of your craft — it's a fit decision for one specific playlist.

The most common reason is fit — the track is good, but not right for that specific playlist's mood, energy or audience. It rarely means the song is weak. Try again with your next release.

No, and any platform that does is not being honest with you. Curators decide based on fit. We can promise your track will be heard by the right ears — not that it will be added.

It varies. Some are small and highly engaged, others are larger. We prioritise playlists where listeners actually finish tracks over playlists that only look impressive on paper.

That's the curator's call. Some placements are permanent, others rotate as new music comes in. You'll see the placement in your journey while it's live.

You do. Always. Submitting to SPRUV never transfers any rights. We don't take publishing, masters, splits or a cut of royalties.

No. Streaming royalties are paid to you by your distributor, exactly as they would be without SPRUV. We're not in that chain.

Yes. Email hello@spruv.net with the track and playlist and we'll ask the curator to remove it. In most cases this happens quickly.

No. Curators are never paid per placement, and artists never pay for a spot. If we ever change our pricing model, curator compensation will remain independent of placement decisions.

Every curator on SPRUV is vetted, and playlists are monitored for unnatural listener patterns. Playlists that fail our checks are removed from the network.

Email hello@spruv.net from the address on your account and we'll remove it, along with your data, within a few business days.

Independent playlist curators — some are DJs, some are producers, some are lifelong listeners with a great ear. Each one is vetted before joining and owns the playlists on their profile.
